Why They Hate US

The following are articles that give just a small glimpse of what is happening in Iraq, why there is so much unrest and why our men and women are dying over there despite Bush declaring victory in early May. I am just going to put up the links, so I hope you will take the time to read all of these articles in full. If you think there is freedom and democracy growing in Iraq, think again. All of these things occuring over there is just feeding a fire of fundametalism in Iraq that could result in a bloody war of guerilla tactics by civilians against our military(which is already happening in small doses). Why Did They Hide This?

With the Bush Administration under fire for not finding WMD in Iraq, why did they hide actual WMD that they *did* find over there? That's right, they actually found some missles (not under a rose bush either). So why did they hide them? They didn't come from France, Germany, China or Russia. No, they came from the good ole USA during the Reagan/Bush Administration. This is why they have sat on this story for almost a month. Baby Bush doesn't want Pappy in trouble.

I say it is time that both Pappy and Baby Bush are investigated and tried for crimes against humanity and high treason! I am sick of the excuses. I am sick of the "eggshell" walking around this administration. These people are criminals and should all be impeached. Starting with Bush and working all the way through Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, Rice, and Ashcroft. Get rid of them all! Lies, secrecy, falsified reports, these are just a few of the things this administration have done. Not to mention sending our men and women into a country that did NOT provoke us and putting them at risk for what? Revenge, Oil, and Corporate profits. Someone or a group of someones in this country need to grow some fucking backbones and stand up to this administration and let them know that we are not an imperalist country and that we do not have the right to tell other countries how to run their affairs. Here are Bush's exact words, quoted by Haaretz: "God told me to strike at al-Qaida and I struck them, and then He instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me, I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."

If you think for one minute that the Divine is only helping one side of this conflict, then you are just as crazy as Bush is. We are ALL equal in the eyes of the Divine and to think that one person has more of a link to the Divine than anyone else, well, that just sounds like insanity to me! What kind of Christian prefers death and murder over PEACE? Definitely not a Jesus-loving and abiding christian. So I will leave it up to you to decide if our country is being run by a self-grandiose-declared-godhead or a true-peace-loving-christian. No wonder the Pope thinks Bush is the anti-Christ!

You Will Send Them To Murder For You, But You Do Nothing To Help Them

The Army Times has an excellent commentary in its new issue entitled, Nothing but lip service. Here are a few snippets from that commentary (please read the whole report):

In recent months, President Bush and the Republican-controlled Congress have missed no opportunity to heap richly deserved praise on the military. But talk is cheap � and getting cheaper by the day, judging from the nickel-and-dime treatment the troops are getting lately.

For example, the White House griped that various pay-and-benefits incentives added to the 2004 defense budget by Congress are wasteful and unnecessary � including a modest proposal to double the $6,000 gratuity paid to families of troops who die on active duty. This comes at a time when Americans continue to die in Iraq at a rate of about one a day.

Similarly, the administration announced that on Oct. 1 it wants to roll back recent modest increases in monthly imminent-danger pay (from $225 to $150) and family-separation allowance (from $250 to $100) for troops getting shot at in combat zones.

Then there�s military tax relief � or the lack thereof. As Bush and Republican leaders in Congress preach the mantra of tax cuts, they can�t seem to find time to make progress on minor tax provisions that would be a boon to military homeowners, reservists who travel long distances for training and parents deployed to combat zones, among others.

Can we all say HYPOCRISY? Go blow up innocent people for me, but don't expect anything from your government in return. I am so sick of this bullshit! If our men and women are out there supposedly defending our country, then they and their families deserve the best of the best at home and abroad. Fuck you, George Bush! You yellow-bellied AWOL bastard! Fuck you and all your damn Chickenhawk advisors who never thought it worth your time to defend our country. And how Colin Powell can stand to work with any of you lazy, rich, daddy-kept-me-out-of-war bastards, I will never understand it! If he had any sense, he would step-down and tell you all to take your military-cuts and shove them up your damn asses! (And to hell with any of you readers who think I should be nice and polite and not speak my mind or be angry! We should ALL be angry.)

And one more thing while I am on my soapbox. While our men and women are in Afghanistan and Iraq killing and being killed, Bush is on a nation-wide whirlwind campaign collecting millions of dollars from his rich corporate buddies. Early in the week it was New York, lately it has been California. He will allow our men and women to DIE, strip them of funds for themselves and their families, but nothing will stop this bastard from his money-grubbing campaign speeches. And he isn't even sticking around long enough to say thanks. Hell no, he is doing 20 minute speeches, collecting the money and then hopping in his Air Force One off to another quick speech. If you contributors think he cares about you, you are soooo mistaken. He only cares about your MONEY! Give him more give him more give him more and fuck you up the ass on his way out! And if you think he will bend to YOUR will, forget it! If it doesn't further his "godly" agenda, then you contributors have wasted your time and money. ::climbs off her soapbox::
