You wanted to say...:

I think Rumsfeld epitomised the blatant idiocy of the Bush administration with this little gem (Febuary 12, 2002, about terrorism). "As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know."

Thank you for posting those articles, its hard to find out what is actually going on. What bothers me more than what our government has done is the ignorance of the public. Somewhere on MSN there was an article which said that in a survey most of the public thinks that the WMDs have actually have been found and the rest think that the actions in Iraq were justified without WMDs because of Saddam's 'inhumane' behavior. The mainstream media is censored (i'm not paranoid, its some law about national security or something). If the media was allowed to share the voices of parents like the ones you quoted, maybe all the flag-waving idiots would wise up. I'm more ashamed of our county's willful ignorance than anything else. We are lucky enough to have a say in who runs our country. We have a voice, but we dont have ears.

I agree with your frustration with this administration. Unfortunately, impeachment is not a possibility at this time, because the Republicans control both houses of Congress, where impeachment is done, and the Republicans have been in lock step with the Bush administration since the beginning. The Tom DeLay controlled House must bring the charges, which will never happen, and the Senate would require two thirds to convict, which would also never happen. Our only realistic hope is for the 2004 elections. Hopefully, more and more of us common people will realize that the Republicans are the party of the Very Rich and the Gullible, and begin to question which they are. Too many people just got bored with peace and prosperity under Clinton, and thought they'd try something different for a change. And look what we got!

Thank you so much! YOu are one of the only people who is willing to expose all the BUSHIT. Thanks so much and keep it up! People need to hear what greedy, self centered, oil usurping bastards they are. you rock! I've been wishing and hoping that since Bush stole the election it would be easy to impeach him...oops, both houses are controled by republicans! When Clinton was in office job opprotunities and the economy were two things that were doing great. Sorry, but I believe September 11th wasn't launched by Al Queda but it was the Bush administration. Think about it! ON september 11th Bush had gone to stay at Jeb bush's house safely tucked away from the white house. They knew about it! They let it happen! So then that gives them the okay to go into Afghanistan. Afterwards they say that this is a "global war on terrorism" so they can get the "evil do-ers" Yoo HOo! There's the okay to go into Iraq. It's alll so mind blowing!

One thing, Ravyne: the gas pipeline in Afghanistan is not the impetus for the U.S. invasion or posture there. Indeed, the pipeline is a mirage, held out as a hope for the country which has no source of foreign currency other than opium sales and donations. The defense contracts there are pretty minimalist (we're not even equipping the national army with M16s--they couldn't afford them, let alone provide the bullets). As for Iraq, I have no comparable facts-on-the-ground knowledge, but the difference is stark: the people of Afghanistan, in general, want us there, while I find it unlikely that the Iraqis see us similarly. And as for impeaching Bush--I wonder how many Americans died from the infamous clandestine blowjob, v. this particular deception.

Yes, thank you so much for posting those articles that were written by completely unbiased people with no agenda whatsoever. I am now educated enough to know that America sucks and all of our leaders are insane psychopaths. Thanks again.

WOW, i totaly agree with you about the bush administration. there egotistical, hypocrytical b******ds, who dont even know anything about the world, other then what they want to know(the french dont even have a word for [that word i cant spell]) really, they are stupid. but wow, today i have been forced to think twice today. 1, about this, the bush administration, and 2, a friend put the question up 'why do we exist' arg, to many deep questions.
