You wanted to say...:

I hope Rand Beers has some decent personal security, himself. Think about it. Would you put it past the Bush administration to orchestrate an "accident?" I wouldn't. I thought about supporting John Kerry until I found out he voted for Bush's war powers. What tangled webs they all weave.

I usually agree with you, but I feel you're way out there with this one. I guess I'm not quite so paranoid. The part that disturbs me most is where you say, "A lot of people still believe that there is a definitive line between Republicans and Democrats. I must disagree. I believe that they are both working towards total corruption of the USA." To not see the stark contrast between the policies of the Democrats and the Republicans is to be blind. This is what cost the election of 2000, and gave us Bush. I agree that the Republicans are subverting the fundamental values of the USA, and leading us into Facism, a plutocracy where workers are kept hungry, and labor kept cheap, and Social Security and Medicare bankrupted, with Big Brother watching. Any progressive Republicans such as Jim Jeffords, have long since been banished from the Republican Party. But the Democrats I see hold totally different values, pro-labor, pro-choice, pro-education, pro-progress and long term solvency, and pro opportunity for all. Just compare the policies of Clinton with those of Bush and the contrast is blatant. I think you're selling Kerry short. While I prefer Dean, I would certain go with Kerry if he should be the nominee.

I *am* a paranoid mofo, I admit. But I think you're looking in the wrong place for conspiracies- the names you mention are such classic badguys, even the discovery channel does "exposes." There ARE sinister forces at work, but its not the Masons or Skull-n-Bones (though some members of each *are* evil): it's corporate entities that protect their interest$ at the cost of freedoms and lives. It's a conspiracy, but of greed, not a "New World Order"-- if anything, that whole thing is a front for the real bad guys. (like the supposed 8 jews who run the world- haha) OH and (on a somewhat related note) check this out: http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=229&row=1 Also, what's yr take on the idea of Anyone But Bush (*after* the primaries of course)? Ravyn is right, partly, on the issue of Republicans and Democrats. Both are bad, and I think anyone that votes for a Republics or Democrat is throwing away their vote. Republicans are war-mongering businessmen who still grease the wheels for their friends and push for only the advantages of their friends at their kind - the upper one per cent. Democrats are simply hippies in three piece suits that are blind to what is happening in the world. The biggest mistake America has made is the three party system. Vote for the third party, and preserve democracy, and peace, and prosperity.
