You wanted to say...:

Pandionna - 2003-04-12 13:32:55
Here we go! I wonder what Shrub is thinking. "Well, as long as we are there..." Meanwhile, Cheney has been planning this the whole time. Argh!

Lori - 2003-04-12 13:46:26
Indeed, Pandionna...very scary! And the UK has already said that if we attack Syria or Iran, they are pulling out of this operation. I wonder what Bush will do then?
-------------------------------
Nicole - 2003-04-12 15:26:30
Don't worry about it...no big deal
-------------------------------
Marie - 2003-04-12 18:34:12
Lori, you are ignorant. Iran is neutral, and wants Saddam dead, and many of its citizens support us, so what would be our reason for attacking them?? and Syria is full of terrorists, that is why those people come to America, they hate it there. And the UK would not pull out of this operation, the UK are our true allies, unlike France.
-------------------------------
Lori - 2003-04-12 20:56:25
Marie...(laughs) oh you are so funny. Iran is our friend? And yet Iran was named as one of the "Axis of Evil" by Bush? And Rumsfeld and Bush have both warned Syria to stay out of things or face military action. As for the UK, read this article (you will have to cut and paste it since it will not show up as a clickable link here): http://politics.guardian.co.uk/foreignaffairs/story/0,11538,928011,00.html - the first lines in that article say: "Britain would have "nothing whatever" to do with military action against Syria or Iran, the foreign secretary, Jack Straw, signalled today." That was written on April 2nd. I am sure France had many reasons to stay out of this war. It could be because of the Food for Oil Program it had with Iraq. It could have been because in the last Gulf War it was mostly the French who were getting their asses blown up defusing landmines and doing most of the dirty clean-up work after the war. Or it could be that perhaps France has finally learned that wars are not worth fighting. But you enjoy those Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast Marie...even if neither of them have anything to do with France. (laughs herself right off her chair)

LITA - 2003-04-12 22:38:51
yea ive been wondering if syria is next for quite awhile. and frankly i think they are. they shouldnt be..but they are.
-------------------------------
Lori - 2003-04-12 22:56:35
Lita - sadly, I think you are right. I have a feeling if it is not Syria, then it will be Iran, unless N. Korea moves closer to arming with nukes and threatens to hit the US.
-------------------------------
Windy - 2003-04-13 20:56:04
We'll just have to wait and see. I've been ambivalent about this war lately, but if they go after Syria...not good.
-------------------------------
Lori - 2003-04-14 08:13:04
Windy...the threats coming out of Washington are almost daily now for Syria. I fear for them. Damascus is such a lovely ancient city and one, I am sure, very dear to the Christian heart because of Paul's vision on the road to Damascus. I cried when Baghdad was bombed and I will more than likely cry if Damascus is bombed too. So much ancient history is being lost over this war - especially ancient Sumerian texts when the Museum in Baghdad was looted. We can only hope that Syria will cooperate.
-------------------------------
Windy - 2003-04-14 16:56:37
Yeah, we can hope for a lot of things...
-------------------------------
Marie - 2003-04-14 17:12:54
Lori, you are an idiot. I never said Iran was our friend. I said they declared themselves neutral. and that some CITIZENS support it, some have even written letters to soldiers. and i never said that fries had to do with France. also, you seem to be the type of person to care more about land than about lives. you cried when Baghdad was bombed because of the land it damaged?!?!?! What about the people that were freed?? Would you have cried for them if Saddam had been allowed to stay in power and had killed them?? No, I am sure you would not.
-------------------------------
Marie - 2003-04-14 17:14:32
and on your article link, unlike you, I don't believe everything I read, especially from the lunatic "sources" you get your crap from. go wash your hair. your head has been up your ass so long it smells like butt.
-------------------------------
TrueThinker - 2003-04-14 17:15:28
if Syria does what it is told, then no one needs to worry.
-------------------------------
Marie - 2003-04-14 17:21:15
and i never claimed syria was our friend our that they haven't been warned to stay out of things. and the reason french backed it is cause they are corrupt, they hate americans, they are wimps when it comes to war (they did NOT do all the dirty work or have the most casualties)and most of all because saddam owes them billions of dollars. and they just admitted that they would not be willing to forgive the Iraqi civilians of that debt. YOU SMELL LIKE BUTT
-------------------------------
Windy - 2003-04-14 18:48:49
Wow, now that is just childish and uncalled for. Grow up.
