I admire your courage. I've finally found someone intelligent enough to say the things running through my head about our "president." He's a liar, a con man, and a sadist. I can't tell you which angers me most. But if President Clinton can get impeached for getting a little head and lying about it, Mr. Bush certainly can be indicted for war crimes. ...Do you suppose he's seen the pictures of these people? Do you suppose he laughed?

Do you suppose that you never see the smiling faces in iraq because the news media never shows them to you and you dont take it upon yourself to look for them. I've been there and am probably going back. Did I like it there? no, but nobody really likes war and nobody wants to be in one but thats our job as soldiers and we all know it when we join, some do not believe that it could happen to them but its a realization that we all have to understand. When i was there I saw children women men, all types of people smiling. I saw women walking downt the street witht their heads held high, because before we liberated iraq women had to look at the ground while walking, women signing up for school, which if you know anything about iraq was illegal before got there. I saw prisons where people who fought against saddam were held beaten tortued and usually in the end killed. I did see a few wounded women and children and i was sad, I also saw one of my buddies die which unless youve ever seen someone die is something I will never forget. Its hard for me to take still now but I will tell you what we have done for the people in iraq is beautiful and I know that the sacrafice we make today will today will help build a better world for tommorow.
